FALL, 2014

School has begun and it is time to embrace what is left of summer and look forward to the fall season.  We still have walks to take and other activities to enjoy.  Please be on the lookout for birds at your feeders as migration season is upon us.  If you see anything unusual, please let us know!

Schedule of Activities

Wednesday Field Trips

All Field Trips will begin at 9 AM, and we will carpool to places outside of LaPorte County.  We usually take our time as we walk so that we do not miss any birds, and so that we are able to identify plants, butterflies and other living things that we may observe.  Binoculars and a field guide are helpful, but not necessary, and be sure to dress for the weather!  Call Cindy at 877-7409 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or Pennie at 873-6753, or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information.  More information will also be provided before each hike.   If you are not receiving emails from Pennie, please contact her and she will add you to the list.   Walks remaining in 2014:
