Birds and More

SparrowsOur chapter meetings feature programs given by local nature experts and enthusiasts on topics ranging across such diverse topics as the natural history of Northwest Indiana, the biology of bats, the biology of orchids, and the wildlife of Northern Australia.  Detailed program descriptions are provided on this website and in our newsletter and local papers.  If you are interested in the conservation, preservation, protection, or just the appreciation and admiration of the natural beauty of our world (especially our little corner of it) please plan to attend one of our meetings. Snacks and coffee are provided as is the opportunity for enjoyable conversation with friendly people who share a love of the environment.

Potawatomi Audubon members also encourage you to join them on field trips and outings to observe and learn firsthand about the many remarkable features of the natural world around us.

If you have knowledge or experience on a specific topic (the specialty being birds, of course) and would like to share it, the chapter can use you.  We offer presentations to youth, senior, or other citizen groups on birds and conservation.
